I can honestly say I truly enjoyed this book. Michelle is a wonderful writer! I read the entire book in one day. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a book they just can't put down.
I was given this book in return for an honest review.
This book is about a 4th grade teacher is about a 4th grade teacher name Emmelynne. She is at camp with her class and the other 4th grade classes. She takes a potty break and is left behind. She gets lost in the woods and stumbles upon a crime in progress. She has to go over and over what she saw with several different policemen. Then lastly with detective Colt Christianson. Colt has never met a woman like Emmelynne. When he takes her back to camp the other female teachers in her team are so happy that she is okay. He can see that they act more like sisters than friends. Then one of them tries to set him up with Emmelynne. That’s a first for him. Then he finds out she also tried to set the two patrolmen up with her. Later that night someone tries to shot Emmelynne. Colt comes back and tells that everyone is going home to start packing. He tells her that she is going to have someone at her house with the whole time until they find the criminals she witnessed. She doesn’t like that one bit. Emmelynne invites over a bunch of police officers as him payback to him. She is supposed to be stay low and instead she throws a party. Then later that night someone breaks in and attacks her. Now Colt is pissed. He is seeing RED. How dare anyone try and hurt his Emmelynne. I really enjoyed this book. They annoy each other so much that you know when they finally give into their feelings for each other that it is going to be something. The characters grip you and you can’t wait to see what happens with them. The book is very well written and exciting. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
This book was a great read, with a witty sense of humor and intriguing story line! This author knows how to keep the reader engaged!!
Michelle did a great job of keeping the story going. Very hard to set it down once you started reading. The story line was easy to follow. I can't wait to read more of her books!
Good book, Michelle came to our neighborhood book club for a discussion, it was very interesting to be able to ask questions of her!
